55. Penalties for failure to register a rental property.  Any person failing to register a rental property in violation of Ordinance No. 061710 of the City of Crandall, Texas, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall

     be punished by a fine not to exceed.   $500.00 for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation or failure to comply occurs or continues to occur.
