CITY OF CRANDALL
The Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Crandall, Texas will hold public hearings to consider a zoning request by MM Cartwright Ranch, LLC to change the zoning of 1356.1 acres of land “Cartwright Ranch” from “Agriculture” to a “Planned Development District”. The property is generally located one (1) miles east of US HWY 175 and the intersection of FM 148. Tract 1 is 1032.9 acres of real property situated in the Samuel Gilliland Survey, Abstract No. 167, the William L. Wade Survey, Abstract No. 589, the Barksdale W. Wade Survey Abstract No. 588, the James E. Peel Survey, Abstract No. 391, the Samuel E. Peel Survey, Abstract No. 392, the Samuel W. Sheltman Survey, Abstract No. 482 and the N. N. Daugherty Survey, Abstract No. 139. Tract 2 is 323.2 acres situated in the Samuel E. Peel Survey, Abstract No. 392, the William L. Wade Survey, Abstract No. 589 and the Samuel W. Sheltman Survey, Abstract No. 482, Kaufman County, Texas,
The Public Hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021at 6:00 p.m.
The Public Hearing before the City Council will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
Both Public Hearings will take place in the Crandall Municipal Court Chambers, 104 East Trunk Street, Crandall, Texas.
All persons interested in the above-referenced request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time.
