Serving the Community
The Crandall Police Department is the law enforcement branch of the Crandall city government. Crandall Police serve the
community by protecting life and property, preserving peace and order,
preventing and detecting crime, enforcing laws and ordinances, and
promoting the safe, efficient use of the City's streets and highways.
Crandall Police Department has a strong emphasis on Community Oriented
Policing (COPS) as the preferred means of addressing community needs.
Contributions from the Community
Recognizing the fact that police agencies were established to protect
and serve the public at large, we encourage and expect the participation
of the community in facilitating solutions to problems of mutual
concern. We therefore solicit and support contributions from all members
of this community regardless of race, sex, national origin, or social
status.
Achieving Balance
The Police Department shall uphold laws in an ethical, impartial,
courteous, and professional manner while respecting the rights and
dignity of all persons. We shall strive to achieve a balance between
enforcement and community needs, while protecting and abiding by the
Constitution of the United States.
