Press Release Home Rule Charter Commission

What an exciting time for the City of Crandall and our Citizens as we move forward in the Home Rule Process!  One of the most exciting aspects of Home Rule is that it brings our Citizens into a more prominent role in shaping our form of Municipal Government and shaping our Charter as we move forward and meet the growth that is upon us!  We want to partner with Citizens who care about our City, care about the growth we are experiencing, have a vision for the future of Crandall and a willingness to serve!  We want to come together in unity and work together to make Crandall a thriving and progressive City but keeping our small-town friendly atmosphere.  Please take time to consider if you share this vision, have the passion and willingness to serve.  The City has posted an application to be placed on the Commission to Form a New Charter on the website.  Please follow the link provided to go directly to the application.

Please note that all members of the Commission will be required to be a registered voter living within the City Limits of Crandall.  All Citizens wishing to serve on the Charter Commission will need to be able to dedicate time for meetings at night possibly every two weeks.  For more information please contact City Secretary Bobbie Jo Taylor at 972-427-3771 ext.  102 or by email at
